Singularity Covid Policy for the November 2021 Executive Program

The Singularity Group is offering an on-site COVID Health Safety Package for the upcoming November 2021 Executive Program to promote health security with attendees, experts, staff and vendors. We are following updates and safety guidelines set by the CDC as well as working with local health officials in Santa Clara, CA county to meet and exceed safety protocols during the event. Details will be provided closer to the time of the event but at this time the following measures will be implemented:

  1. Vaccinations: All attendees, experts, staff and vendors are required to have proof of vaccination. Approved vaccines include the Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine, the Moderna Vaccine, AstraZeneca and the Johnson & Johnson Janssen Vaccine. We will review medical exemptions on a case-by-case basis.
  2. PCR Testing: All attendees will be required to present proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of program start.
  3. Rapid Antigen Testing: As an additional layer of protection, we will be administering on-site rapid antigen testing daily Monday-Thursday.
  4. Daily Temperature Readings: All participants will have their temperatures taken before entering the designated event areas utilizing digital thermometers or thermal sensors. The CDC lists fever as one criterion for screening for COVID-19 and considers a person to have a fever if their temperature registers 100.4 or higher. No one will be admitted to the designated event areas with a temperature above 100.4 F
  5. Masks, Social Distancing and Hand Hygiene: We are following current mandates and will inform our guests should mandates be eased. Currently, all attendees, speakers and hotel guests are required to wear masks indoors, practice social distancing, and conduct proper hand hygiene. For all outdoor activities and meals, mask-wearing is encouraged when in close proximity to others. Complimentary masks will be made available to all guests. Hand Sanitizer stations will be located throughout the event. The area where the program will take place will undergo constant cleaning, according to CDC guidelines and The Ameswell Hotel protocols.
  6. On-Site Health Provider: Two medical staff members will be on-site to conduct daily rapid antigen testing, answer questions, and provide additional support as needed.
  7. Hotel Safety Protocols: To minimize Covid exposure, this year’s Executive Program will be held at The Ameswell Hotel. The Ameswell has implemented the following COVID safety protocols:

  • Medical grade air filtration throughout the hotel
  • None of the guest rooms share air
  • The hotel conducts daily temperature checks
  • Hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel
  • All hotel staff are vaccinated and/or participate in weekly COVID testing
  • Daily cleaning of the event space will be carried out
  • Removal of waste frequently, so as not to generate accumulation, using safe disposal procedures
  • Periodic cleaning of the information desk, doors, door handles, mirrors, screens and participants' contact surfaces
  • In bathrooms, increased frequency of cleaning of toilets and use of automatic dispensers of soap and disposable paper, as well frequent trash receptacle emptying
  • Cleaning at the end of each day of the program, including floors, chairs, furniture and contact surfaces.
  1. Support for Suspected Cases: For a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, the participant will remain in a single room where he/she will remain with the proper care and arrangements for immediate transportation to their home or nearest medical facility. The guest’s condition will be monitored by the event staff and The Ameswell Hotel staff. In suspected or confirmed cases, our daily rapid antigen testing partner will report the situation to the local health and health authorities.
  2. Legal Liability Waivers: We are requiring all attending participants to sign a liability waiver holding harmless Singularity Education Group.
