# What is Singularity Hub?

## A free tech news site that aims to cut through the tech noise to give readers a no bull read on what’s happening in science and technology.

Singularity Hub is our (completely free) tech news site that chronicles what’s happening in tech. We cover the breakthroughs, players, and issues shaping the future across AI, biotechnology, robotics, computing, space, science, and energy. Hub publishes original long-form journalism, curated news roundups, editor's picks on notable research, and guest contributions from subject matter experts.

The site was founded independently in 2008 by Keith Kleiner and was purchased by Singularity in 2012, but has maintained its editorial integrity, and the non-sponsored articles remain independent of the organization's viewpoints. Hub’s goal is to provide readers with insightful, accurate, balanced, and compelling coverage on the latest in science and technology. Cutting through the noise to prepare readers for what's next.
