Although a project timeline, valuation, and budget are not required fields to create a project these data points are used in the creation of Insights in order to make comparisons and track changes over time.
If a project does not appear within an insight, then important data is likely missing from the project. Creating an Insight requires an Impact or Launch Date for each record used within the insight in order to track change over time.
To remedy, navigate to the project record being used for an Insight (edit user permissions required) and select edit.
Confirm that the project has estimated timeline start and stop dates for each stage-gate or milestone of development. Note: A start date may not overlap the previous stage-gate end date, but a gap of time is allowed.
Confirm that the project has a current valuation and used budget values.
Once updated click SAVE and navigate back to the Insight by selecting the named insight at the bottom of the white status table (bottom, right)
